One of the biggest challenges in constructing mathematical models of biological systems is how to infer the parameter values from experimental data and have we done this well enough to make useful, and valid, predictions.

Along with researchers from the University of Birmingham and Nottingham we ran a workshop on this topic (MPPM2016).
